Robbie Williams and Ayda Field share their devastation over heartbreaking death of both of their dogs on the same day

Robbie Williams and Ayda Field have announced the tragic passing of their two beloved dogs on the same day: a cocker spaniel named Buddy and a French bulldog called Colette.

The couple shared a photo of Buddy and Colette together on Instagram on March 4, 2023, Robbie Williams wrote that the passing of Buddy and Coco was a "double blow to the heart."

Ayda posted:

I don't even know how to begin to put into words how shattered our hearts are today. This morning, we said goodbye to our beloved Buddy and Colette, our dearest dogs and loyal friends. Buddy was 16 and passed away peacefully at home in Ayda's arms, surrounded by the people who loved him most.

Colette, our little French bulldog, suddenly took ill and left us an hour later. We are completely heartbroken - Colette had only just turned one on February 27th.

Buddy and Colette were both much-loved by Robbie and Ayda's 4 children, Teddy, Charlie, Coco and Beau. The couple has since been inundated with messages of condolences from friends, family, and fans around the world.

Do dogs go to heaven?

Many people believe that dogs have souls and that they will go to heaven when they die, just like humans. This belief is often based on the idea that dogs are loyal, loving companions who deserve to be rewarded for their good behavior.

There is no scientific evidence to support the claim that dogs have souls, but it is a comforting thought and one that can help pet owners cope with the loss of a beloved companion.

The Bible does not explicitly state whether or not dogs go to heaven, but there are some passages of scripture that suggest that animals do have a place in the afterlife.

For example, in the book of Isaiah, it is written:

"The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fatling together, and a little child shall lead them."

This passage suggests that all animals, including dogs, will be able to live together in peace and harmony in the afterlife.

Ultimately, whether or not dogs go to heaven is a matter of faith. There is no right or wrong answer, and each person must decide for themselves what they believe.
